How to Make YouTube Faster While not Using Chrome

Last year, YouTube had some changes in its looks including the black theme look. Its developer Google brought changes and made it look better and attractive, but the new YouTube is quite slow in loading. If you are using Microsoft Edge, Safari or Mozilla Firefox but not Google Chrome then you must be realizing that YouTube is slower after the redesign. You might be thinking that there must be some issues with your computer or browser. Some might be guessing the issue is due to a weak internet connection. But do think the problem could be YouTube itself?

Neither Google nor YouTube issued any guidelines or revealed any information about how it is going to perform in the web browsers except Google Chrome. Chris Peterson, the technical program manager of Mozilla Firefox, said that Mozilla has worked upon to clear out the issue of slow YouTube. Chris Peterson revealed on Twitter account that Mozilla had put its efforts to reduce the problems for the users to run YouTube in Firefox. According to him, YouTube is designed according to the set of functions and procedures which are applicable only on Chrome, hence making YouTube compatible with Chrome.

As a result, YouTube becomes five times slower in other internet software. But Mozilla is providing a workaround to make YouTube faster again in Firefox. Chris further said that Firefox is generating an add-on for the users. By clicking the YouTube Classic add-on button in Firefox, YouTube will load faster, and it won’t frustrate the users. If you are using Firefox, you should try this add-on button.

For Apple’s Safari and Microsoft Edge users, there is also a workaround, so you don’t have to bother with slow YouTube. Alike Mozilla Firefox, Safari and Edge also have worked upon the slow YouTube problem. If you use either of the two web browsers, then follow the steps and enhance the speed YouTube noticeably for five times in your browser.
